APG Plants 1000 Mangrove Seedlings

In a collective effort to protect the environment and mitigate climate change as well as to enliven the series of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk anniversary events. (ADHI) 64th, ADHI held a simultaneous tree planting event with ADHI subsidiaries at 6 points throughout Indonesia in ADHIGREEN activities, on February 21 2024 to coincide with National Waste Awareness Day.

This activity was initiated to increase awareness of the importance of preserving nature and making a positive contribution to the local environment. In this case, PT Adhi Persada Gedung (APG) in collaboration with the Bali Provincial Environmental Service and the Ngurah Rai Grand Forest Park (Tahura) UPTD Bali, also planted 1000 mangrove trees in the Ngurah Rai Grand Forest Park (Tahura), Bali.

In his speech, the Main Director of PT Adhi Persada Gedung Yan Arianto said, Apart from preserving the environment, this activity is also ADHI's focus to implement ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) in 2024.

"ADHIGREEN's activities are in line with ADHI's focus on implementing ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) in 2024. In 2024, ADHI GREEN activities begin ADHI's commitment at the beginning of the year to plant the next tree." Said Yan Arianto

Yan Arianto added, This simultaneous tree planting is a concrete step by ADHI and its subsidiaries to create a greener and healthier environment, through the ADHIGREEN program, it is hoped that what has been planted today will become a sustainable program. ADHI also invites all ADHI people and the environmental conservation community to join in efforts to preserve the environment around us. ADHI's active participation through ADHIGREEN can contribute more in supporting a green environment to support environmental preservation.

Meanwhile, the Head of UPTD Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Ngurah Rai, I Ketut Subandi expressed his gratitude for ADHI's real work in environmental awareness and hopes that this real work can have a positive impact on the environment.

ADHIGREEN was implemented symbolically in 6 cities spread across ADHI projects by carrying out conservation activities for 16,000 mangrove tree seedlings, waste and waste management campaigns, and providing plastic bottle waste boxes. The number of mangrove trees planted was 1,000 in Bali, 8,000 in Karawang, 4,000 in Banten, 1,000 in IKN, 1,000 in Semarang, and 1,000 in Palembang.
