Jabodebek LRT inauguration

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Jabodebek Integrated Railroad (LRT) at Cawang LRT Station, East Jakarta, on Monday (28/08).

The electronic card-tapping procession and the signing of the inscription as a sign of the inauguration of the Jabodebek LRT followed the inauguration.

Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Chairman of MPR Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet), Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, to Mustasyar (Advisor) of the Nahdlatul Ulama Board (PBNU) who is also the Main Commissioner of PT KAI KH Said Aqil Siradj, and also accompanied by the Main Director of ADHI Entus Asnawi Mukhson, Director of Operations 2 ADHI Pundjung Setya Brata.

Jabodebek residents can immediately enjoy the benefits of the Jabodebek LRT, which is integrated with various other modes of transportation. More efficient trips, shorter travel times, and a positive environmental impact are some of the many hopes associated with the presence of the Jabodebek LRT.

This LRT station has 18 stations with routes that connect several main cities supporting the capital city of Jakarta.
